Hello Cavalier! Interested in joining a brand new student-led team designed to give you real world experience in the area of your choosing? The Athletic Department is launching the Fan Shop in Fall of the 2025-2026 School Year. The Fan Shop will be completely student operated where the team will manage all aspects of running a small shop including but not limited to marketing, customer service, financials, sales, and inventory management. The Fan Shop will be set up during home sporting events selling a variety of products primarily apparel. The Athletic Department is looking for hardworking, committed, business minded students. General duties include: working well in a team environment, availability during weeknights and biweekly meetings. Apply Now!

The Athletic Department is aiming to hire 3 students, where you can apply to be the Fan Shop Manager, Fan Shop Financial Officer, or Fan Shop Designer / RNE Athletics Social Media Advisor. All these positions also entail the responsibilities of the Sales, Inventory, & Merchandising Advisor, or SIM Advisor. Read the responsibilities carefully.

Sales, Inventory, & Merchandising Advisor (3) (All Positions)
- Handle face to face interactions with customers and facilitate product sales
- Handle total Inventory and running inventory during operation (or before and after inventory)
- Handle cash and be able to use a credit card reader
- Set up Fan Shop and arrange products to maximize sales
- Takedown Fan Shop and store products

Shop Manager (1)
- Be a vocal leader
- Make sure all positions are doing their job and hold them accountable
- Responsible for Fan Shop storage before and after use
- Arrange biweekly meetings to host and hear feedback (video call or in-person)
- Responsibilities of a SIM Advisor
- Report to the Assistant AD or AD with biweekly progress reports

Financial Officer (1)
- File reports for nightly performances
- Make sure inventory sheet matches sales
- Evaluate the sales of products and find strategic avenues to maximize profit
- Coordinate with designer to brainstorm new revenue streams we could explore
- Responsibilities of a SIM Advisor

Fan Shop Designer / RNE Athletics Social Media Advisor (1)
- Utilize Instagram and other social media platforms to draw in viewers and students
- Report athletic results to the student body thru social media
- Brainstorm new products and apparel styles to implement into fan shop
- Create flyers to spread awareness of Fan Shop
- Responsibilities of a SIM Advisor
- CavPlex students encouraged and preferred as it is part of their program already
